Had the eggs and broccolini on toast. Eggs were cooked nicely, fluffy and well seasoned. Service was very friendly. Good coffee. A great cafe!

I was looking for a place to sit down, have a great sandwich, a cup of coffee, and just a tranquil spot to recharge in this part of downtown - - and I found it! Unexpected - because this block's strip of the doors wasn't promising anything special (to be fair, some places were still closed in the morning), but what a bright morning star this place is, on the backdrop of the grey and dull same-ol-same-ols around. A relief indeed. A separate word on the service - I am not often served like this in the restaurants even. People operate while literally running, valuing their customers' time. I was asked about 10+ different options of all kinds, all with humor and such an upbeat, that I woke without even having my coffee yet. In short - - return here I must.

Really impressed by this place. It's clean, hip, and energizing to be here. The service is very friendly and helpful. The food and menu is a nice combination of the familiar and innovative. I tried the Grilled Salmon Rice Bowl. It was excellent: brown rice, kim chee, marinated soy cucumbers, pickled ginger, sesame seeds, and then a ginger-soy vinaigrette served on the side (so you can put as much or as little as you want on it). Fantastic flavors. Filling but healthy too. There are many lunch items I want to try on the menu: Fried Shrimp Po'Boy wrap, Shake Your Banh Banh, Sisig Fried Rice, and so many things. Also, the breakfast burritos and morning items sounded good. The place is small (not a lot of seating). A lot of to-go orders were heading out in the short time we were there. This is an excellent spot.
